1. Who qualifies for home care?

a) A person who is *homebound and requires skilled health care. Examples of skilled health care include, but not limited to, wound care; dressing changes; physical or occupational therapy; teaching needs with new medications; intravenous medication therapy;

*Homebound is defined as unable to leave the home; leaving would require a considerable and taxing effort.

b) A person who is in need of skilled services of a nurse and/or therapist(s) on a part-time or intermittent basis.


2. Who pays for home care services?

Home Care Services may be covered by Medicare, Medicaid, Health Plan or Automotive Insurances. Our intake staff can assist you or your doctor's office in determining insurance coverage for the home care services you need.
